It's not, the actual registered vote count from around 2018 was something like 152 million or something. It's still statistically improbable that EVERYONE voted, which is what would have needed to have happened for the current Biden + Trump numbers to make sense. And which seems super unlikely to me. I know a bunch of lefty people that didn't vote at all this election because as much as they don't like Trump they didn't like Biden and especially didn't like Harris even more.

Which is also fucky. Even countries with mandatory voting and penalties for not doing it like Australia never get over around 90%.

I also wonder where they get that registered voters eligible to vote number, since most states have illegals and dead people on their rolls that never get purged. Shit, it took me 3 years to get my dad off voter rolls and off social security when he died and that was decades ago now.

And even with the 153.1 million, Biden only would have left about 79 million votes IF absolutely everyone voted, 100% voter turnout.

I know at least 10 registered voters who didn't vote.

If the numbers from this website are accurate there are 213,799,467 registered voters. (They say they get their data from the states voter reg stats.)

And how many of those are either dead, or registered in more than 1 state? The real question here is why does the US not have a national voter registration database?

True story. I had to use that website cause I couldn't find a straight answer for a national number.
