I can't take vacations that ling but I think arriving early is the way to go. I went to VA for the protest and there I met a lot of like minded people before the event. Basically the greatest way to talk to people irl. We should have a thread on this and where to meet up before the event.

We need to be there before blm takes over the path Congress needs to walk to get to their meeting. I mean we could remove them and I'd love to lead that charge entirely too much, but we do want to promote being peaceful as much as possible. So yes, claiming ground with enough numbers and a coordinated placement of force is essential.
We also need to expect fuckery if Congress' meeting 1/6 concludes reasonably. We can't trust Democrats to say one thing and then actually do it 2 weeks later. Remember Reagan's amnesty deal.
