The trick is doing it in sufficient numbers. The proof in the pudding is Antifa is not disarmed of their non-regulation sticks and batons, they will likely be much less enthusiastic about sidearms and rifles.

While I love the passion I'm seeing some of these comments, unless we are actually at war we need to adhere to the law. We are defending the republic, the rule of law. How can we defend something that some of you are suggesting to be hypocritical of. To all of my fellow Patriots that are going to be there I hope that you follow the law to a tee. Lower courts do that too. Higher courts can overturn those repeals of EOs, and they go back and forth.
DC is covered by the DC circuit court, with the infamous Emit judge that “oversaw” the Flynn trial. Chief Justice Robert’s also directly oversees (and I believe as of recently, even sits on it)
SC has NO STANDING.... at least that's the argument I would make.

That is not the only basis for rejection. Trump had 2 of his orders revoking DACA rejected by the supreme court for other reasons.

It was literally an unprecedented ruling, where the court didn’t rule on whether DACA was constitutional or not, but that Trump’s argument for removal was insufficient to remove it.
By doing this, SCOTUS literally expanded its own powers.
Ironically, if any future president wants to executive rule or legislate more judges, now the justices have an actual precedent to reject that EO or law on the basis that thier arguement for court packing is insufficient.
Of course, this basis/ruling could be used for literally anything now.

Executive orders stand by default until a court overturns them or Congress rams through a law that would constrain the president from issuing such an order. If that's done in Congress, you would typically need a veto-proof majority because the president would veto.
A 24-hour executive order would definitely be the way to go. No way the court will convene in time to overturn it.
