Guys, this isn't some LARP. This is a classic case of a political power struggle and it has happened around the world many times. You have to show your enemies you have the power. Power is all about fear, if they have no fear of you, you lose.
Trump is showing he can call on his supporters whenever he needs them to do whatever is necessary. This is how the power struggle behind closed doors is won. People must fear Trump and the people he commands more than they fear the establishment.
Even if you can't make it on the 6th, don't question his motives. Show your full support so the message gets out. We're getting to the end game and this is not a LARP.
You're right. I should just tell her too bad I'm going to meet with a bunch of strangers and hope it all works out. Just say the hell with my marriage and go find a MAGA babe, and let my children be raised by someone else. Regardless of my vows to her, right?
I thank God there are people who can and will go. I can't, and its not because i don't want to. At the end of the day, thousands of strangers are not going to come home with me and try to help me fix my marriage with a woman i told to fuck off while I go play soldier even though i have no training in that field, and would probably end up dead, or with my ass kicked. And I won't be remembered. I'm just another random name on an internet forum. No one would give a pile of dogshit about my life if it ended.
I understand the stakes. Nothing pisses me off more than seeing these thieves try to take our country. Everyone has to make a choice about what they're going to do. I have faith that the President has more at stake than i do and has planned accordingly, regardless of whether or not one middle aged nobody (me) shows up on the 6th.
I guess next time i just won't post unpopular opinions. But i guess that would make me a wimp too...
Listen, I'm speaking as a wife - this is the stand to take. You should go. Your wife needs to be brave. My husband and I aren't American but he is trying to get a flight to the US to join in. I am scared for him to go but now is the time for courage. Courage and Wisdom as President Trump says. This is for the future of your children.
I hear you. I wish my wife would support me that way. We have already agreed that if they come for the guns, we will go out guns blazing together. She hated Trump 6 months ago, and voted for him in 2020.
The red pilling for her has been slow. I have been trying to organize with like minded folks in my leftist area of the country. We stock up on ammo and food where we can, and as money allows.
I will talk to her again, and see if we can come to an agreement.
