My mom used to work with a doctor who had one. He was a kid (10 or 11 I think, not super young) in the camps. Nobody was allowed to walk behind him in the OR because he’d freeze up and have flashbacks. He told my mom that the guards would line them up sometimes and walk behind them cocking their guns to torment them, telling the kids they are going to be shot. He was a nice guy but he had a haunted look sometimes.

ngl, seems like very unreasable expectations to put on everyone else just because he has some problem. It sucks for him but come on...
That’s just what my mom said. Not sure if it was a hospital rule or one the nurses instituted because they liked him. He was a great doctor.
