Then why were Serbs the aggressor when the war started in Yugoslavia, displacing hundreds of thousands of lives in Kosovo, why did they slaughter thousands of innocent civilians in Srebrenice and bussed women to be raped in their military bases, why did they attempt to invade Slovenia as well while knowing Slovenia pulled out and didn’t want to be involved in any conflict? Don’t act like Milosevic and Serbia were the ones defending and protecting their country, they were the tyrants.
Retaliation for villages around Srebrenica, and massacres committed on Christmas 1993, by Muslims from Srebrenica, demilitarized zone, on paper... Wouldn't you do the same? I mean, for real:
War is war, but youre comparing the attack on Kravica that killed around 50 (mainly soldiers) to a genocide that killed thousands of innocent civilians that were prisoners in their own village of Srebrenice.
Now if you’re asking me if I’d do the same, would I murder newborn babies in front of their families, gang rape 8 year old girls in front of their fathers, behead small boys and give the body back to their mother and family, execute random civilians in the streets just for the hell of it for a span of multiple years? Nah I would definitely not do the same.
I know that those things happened, it was a civil war in incredibly mixed area, it would be stupid to deny.
On tactical level - yes it was retaliation for several surrounding villages
On a bit larger scale - UN's fault. Why there was enough weapons to do all of that in demilitarized zone?
On strategic level - yes, my Serbs fcuked up, by starting new round of socialisms. Milosevic's national(istic) socialism, Alya's pan-islamic-socialism (read his Manifesto) and Tudjman's limited-capitalistic-socialism-nationalistic
ROOT OF ALL EVIL? MARX!
The one that sees people as classes and not individuals.
Marxist ideologies, based on classes are protecting class interests by redistributing properties and don't care about individual rights, including the right to life.
WWII, start, Ustashe were eliminated class of wrong nation - Serbs
WWII, end, Communists were eliminating class of wrong material status, landlords and factory owners
90's, All 3 national(istic) socialisms, were eliminating other ethnic classes from their area
This is why nobody cared about you. You were just an individual, just 1 millionth part of your class, basically nothing. not my words, Marx
The result: once we've realized that even this socialism doesn't work, we packed our bags and got out of there, never to return.
Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia, all of them lost a significant percentage of population after the war was over.
Of course man, we are in agreement at least on this here. I commented to just tell others that it’s not as cut and dried as many people here seem to believe. It’s one thing to have read about it or seen it on the news, it’s another to have lived it and have had family members all around jugoslavia tell their tales.

Two wrongs don't make a right but Muhammad himself was an expert at doing heinous shit then acting like the victim when the other side retaliated

Says my relatives and me who were fortunate enough to survive and flee before we were raped/slaughtered as well.
It’s not a conspiracy man, I personally lived through this.

That's the main message to take home.
