I couldn't vote, can't have a gun, can't leave the county. I'm blessed to have learned from my mistakes, it has led me to God and thinking clearly and positively. It was just in time to be getting through the heavy part and hard part of getting clean before the lock down, and with God's grace I made it through still clean. I hate having to watch from the sidelines but I will be in DFW supporting in some way.

Exactly. Calorie dense foods, like you would take hiking. And a water filter (sawyer $20). It will be cold, but carrying enough water for a day will take up valuable pack space and be heavy. There are water sources in dc that will be safe with a filter.
Ill be carrying paracord, probably bolt cutters, bow saw, hockey stick (with a few hidden modifications), and inconspicuous body protection. Plenty of zip ties, duct tape, the usual stuff.
I probably will ride in on mtb, could be really handy, will ditch it if it makes sense. But i don’t want to miss any of the fun!
Also, for those of you not in the best of shape, use the next 18 days to start hiking, walking, etc. you dont want to be sore, or find out you get blisters from walking a few miles.

I know that we can all probably get away with concealed carry but what about long guns? There's no easy way that we can carry them without drawing attention. The next best thing I have is a Mossberg Shockwave which will fit into a backpack, but we're gonna need firepower too.
My pack includes medical supplies, food and water for at least 1 week in the bush, and two sets of police handcuffs (for detaining would be attackers)

Believe it or not, they used to. I spent some time there in the late 70s doing Navy stuff. Because it was/is a significant base with a good sized population of military and (at the time - I dont know now) their dependents, plus civilian staff, all needed good recreational facilities. And schools. It had a decent PX and commissary, outdoor movie theater, a number of places to eat besides the galley. I learned how to sail there renting one of the sailboats from their Recreational boathouse, and the diving was as good as any other Caribbean island. You just couldnt ever leave the base...but why tf would any American pateiot want to go to "actual" Cuba? But that was a long time ago. Far as I'm concerned now it's good to keep assholes in cages and away from humanity.

Take pepper spray and a pair of swimming goggles that suction over your eye sockets. They usually come with a swimmers nose clip. Also bring an oversized golfcourse umbrella for tear gas, um, I mean the rain forecast. The goggles will help you not spray yourself accidentally.

Leading up to it, all the boards were lit up with people looking for a ride, others announcing they had available seats in their van/car, others announcing they had extra space at their motel room. FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY, IN REAL TIME, 24/7. It was amazing. It was SPONTANEOUS. It went on all day and all night leading up to it. Total strangers helping each other. Thousands upon thousands.
