I live close to Montréal which puts me just under a 9 hour drive. Trying to find rules that will allow me to travel to states.....Help frens

Take a flight from Canada to the USA they are allowing that. (Passport required obviously)

You need to fly. Ground crossongs are closed. Prepare to quarantine for 2 weeks when you return to Canadastan.

Outside of general immigration and international travel rules, there are some states that now have covid restrictions for entry such as NY, NJ, PA, etc. If you just passing through, on the way to DC, it should not be an issue. I do not think DC has any restrictions that are covid related.
