I know we're pumped about going to D.C Jan 6 and I'm arranging to go since I'm not very far. However, my problem with Jan 6 is that if the Republicans fuck us like they have constantly fucked us then Biden will have a legitimate claim to the presidency. Anything Trump does after the 6th in that situation is done to someone who is actually President Elect.

If Trump uses the Insurrection Act to halt the process pending the military doing Recounts/Audits then Trump can literally say "Hey I'm not a dictator all I'm doing is getting the ball rolling. The military is tasked with counting every legal vote so however it comes out is however it comes out. Let's see how it goes." That is the best case scenario in my mind. I'm not a doomer for not trusting the system. It is corrupt and will fuck us if Trump lets it continue. Even though Jan 6 could be contested and work in our favor I want the fate of the Republic to rest in Trump's hands.
