A true "fought in the streets" civil war would either last a LONG time or be INCREDIBLY short. Like months, vs days.
Frankly, it depends on what amount of military involvement there is. If it's just local law enforcement it would be VERY short. Most wouldn't get involved or would be quickly overrun. Military on the other hand (if they're not on our side) would be a different matter.
At this point the choice may be between a slow death or a hot war. I pray for no civil war everyday. But both sides may be locked into a unavoidable collison
Once the bullets actually start flying, we'd find out really fast who was all about it and who the larpers on both sides were. Strategically, I see no reason for urban combat in the cities. It would be easier to "creatively" seal off the bridges and tunnels that lead into them, especially on the East Coast and pooling the manpower to protect the breadbasket of America where the resources are. Starve the cities out and that problem will take care of itself.
My intel told me a while back Chyna send weapons to the US and the left is well prepared, hand guns, AR;s, AK's plenty of ammo and RPG's, the ATF found a cache in Louisville Ky. last summer containing magazines, and uppers and lowers for AR's, I was also told these shipping containers said Aire Soft toys!.
