My SO has had a weird onset of vertigo during the past week. She got a bit paranoid of the Shanghai Shivers and got tested. She kept her guard pretty high and didn't really let on that it was bothering her too bad that we might not be able to go to our family Christmas stuff. We were going to have to skip her grandma's early Christmas today.

She got her results back about an hour ago, negative of course, but when I went upstairs to mock it with her she was crying. She was so scared we'd have to cancel Christmas this year, and it just dawned on me that not everyone brushes stuff off as easily as some of us do. Even if your loved ones are presenting a strong front they could be one bad luck situation away from coming unglued.

Take some extra time to pay attention to them and make sure this season is what it's meant to be: family, friends, and cheer!

...make no mistake though, it's always the season for helicopter rides. Merry Christmas ya'll!
