this is the link for sb tactical who is the leader in pistol braces and has been the sole group pushing against the ATF to try to get a set standard for what exactly a pistol brace is. ATF has responded to the 60 day cease and desist order they gave "Live Q or Die", a manufacturer that made the "Honeybadger Pistol" which uses a SB Tactical pistol brace. The ATF intends to push forward regulation regarding what a pistol brace is by essentially saying they will do it on a case by case bases. THey are not giving any standards for what exactly a pistol brace is. This is essentially what the social media companies have been doing by not telling you in black and white terms what is against there terms of service. We need all citizens who care about our 2A rights to respond to your senators and legislatures and oppose this. SB Tactical has provided a pre filled out response in the .pdf they have posted on there website, i have included in it this post. the one click response will find your states legislatures if you provide them a zip code and it can auto send out a pre filled response to make it easy for you. We have 2 weeks to show some push back. Get at it Pedes!

This needs a sticky, hate to ask. i could care less for any upvotes, we only have 2 weeks to do as much pushback as we can

Why is Trump even allowing the ATF to consider this? What happened to his rule that "whenever you issue a new regulation, you have to roll back 2 existing regulations"? What happened to Trump's promise to be a staunchly pro-2nd Amendment president?

wish i had an answer. the ATF was set up as a regulatory agency, and that is what they are trying to do. I am unaware of how much power Trump has in his control of the ATF

Regulatory agencies are nominally part of the executive branch, which makes Trump their de facto commander in chief. It's ultimately the commander's job to keep his subordinates in line.

The ATF is convinced Biden will be in office by the time their new rules go into effect.

Its not like agencies have not been defying Trump from the get go so why would they care what he thinks or even orders.

ATF was the first agency to openly jump at meeting with Biden for 'transition meetings.
