There are other ways to help! I’m getting food and other things ready for the group of men and women I know who are going to be in D.C. on the 6th. Just wanted to share this, newish account and never posted, but been fretting all morning about being useless, but I’m not! And neither are you! There are ways you can help that really make a difference, January 6th and for what likely waits beyond. Other ideas welcome. Hope this post is at least a little useful as well. God bless you all and God bless America!! 💕🇺🇸💖🧂🧂

I cant go (2yr old and 3 month old) but I am considering sponsoring some or all of some pedes trip who wouldn't be able to go otherwise.
Some suggestions on how everyone can help here: https://thedonald.win/p/11R4q4r5If/prep-for-dc-how-to-build-our-num/
Thanks for the encouragement! I can’t go either, 4 of my 5 kids are 6 and under. I am going to try to find people going and see what they might need.
Other ideas from a prepper perspective in case of prolonged outdoors exposure in the cold:
Easily packed hand warmers like these: Hand warmers
These gloves are awesome for warmth. Pricey, but they work: gloves
Hats are a necessity for warmth, we lose probably 60% or more of our body heat from our head. I've found this beanie to be great and it's lightweight: hats
In case of rain or snow: poncho
A good pair of boots and wool socks.
Businesses may not let you use their bathrooms so think about how you will handle that.
Flashlight and a headlight for the night time. Don't get caught in a dark alley alone.
First aid kit.
Face mask/gaiter: for warmth not because the govt expects it.
Other comfort items: chap stick, baby wipes, toiletries, ibuprofen/tylenol.
Finally, walk softly but carry a big stick.
