I used to hot shot this entire country. take the high route if you leave in the morning and enjoy those open views though az and new mexico. its worth it! have fun pepe!!
I've taken that mid route during the winter, it can be a disaster with ice and snow. Watched over 10 trailers jackknife in Texas panhandle. Lower route is safer and will be much faster
tru that. the route up to flagstaff is one hell of a climb but if its dry weather the road will be fine. personally I avoid Oklahoma in the winter but its winter. let the weather be your guide fo sure!

I'm in San Antonio now. Cold in the mornings but it doesn't seem to snow here or anything too bad
