So you mad lads are going to raise a ruckus. That's fine. Instead of lecture you how I think this entire thing is an awful idea, I'll make some important observations. Please take heed:

PLAN WITH LIKE-MINDED FRIENDS, STAY IN GROUPS. COMMUNICATE PRIVATELY.

Just assume our alphabet fedgov friends are always watching, always listening. Want to organize? Get end-to-end encryption chat/text/voice software for your pc or smart device. Simply google "encrypted chat software." Do some research, go through links. A few of these apps are completely free. Always be careful who you contact, but if you already know people to talk to, start using these apps to organize and plan. Rally together, go protest together.

ASSUME THAT TRAVEL PLANS WILL GO SIDEWAYS.

Plane reservations will be canceled. "Oh no, that sucks, the Covid caused all our flights to magically disappear a week before the 6th. Here's your refund/credit, have a nice day." People driving have a much better chance, but there might be police checkpoints as well. Some obvious, others less so. They'll say it's for sobriety, but you know better. Plan your routes through places where you are less likely to encounter harassment. Drive conservatively, drive sober.

BE SUBTLE, DON'T ADVERTISE. DC IS A SUPER SECURE ZONE.

People mention that the DC police are leftist thugs, and that's likely true, but your bigger problem are the police not wearing any uniform. There will be plenty of those at your gathering, since everyone here is already advertising their intent to bring firearms. While traveling I'd try to avoid telling the world what a super MAGA patriot you are, until it's time to actually protest. Otherwise you are just asking to be pulled over, or detained, for "your own safety" of course. Be subtle until it's time to show yourself.

COUNTER PROTESTORS WILL BE A THING

Your favorite activist groups are already organizing themselves to come out and scream in your face what a scary fascist you are. Cucked LE and Antifa alike will be there to provoke, beat up, and harass you. Don't take the bait, but still be prepared. There might be pepper spray and tear gas flying. Have the gear and knowledge to take care of yourself in this regard. Head and eye protection, gloves, thick clothing, first aid kits, etc etc etc.

DON'T BE A GUNG HO IDIOT

All kinds of people are posting about crossing the Rubicon, or slaughtering commies. Don't be that guy. LE will be looking for any excuse to bust you. It's going to be a stressful situation, and people have already been shooting at each other during protests. Keep a cool head, and consider if life and death is really on the line, instead of just plugging some blue haired moron, even though they might so richly deserve it.

COMING TO THE PROTEST ARMED AND ANGRY IS A CALCULATED GAMBLE

Again, our loving fedgov overlords are already on top of your posts and writing reports and warnings as we speak. I get it, you're angry, and deservedly so. But understand the gamble you are taking. Not just with getting in trouble with LE, but bodily injury, possibly death. If you're a veteran/LE and have already seen the hellscape of violence possible, then I'm sure you'll make some good decisions. If you're some LARPing middle-aged, obese professional that wants to play dress up, march around with an expensive kit, and show off your shiny toys, I would take some extreme critical thought on the matter. This also goes for those of you who feel like you have nothing to lose, and are itching to put fists, knives, or batons into leftists. Again, I get it, but at least sit down and think about your situation. This is why it's wise to travel in groups, communicate with friends, and have someone experienced "take the lead" as it were for your group.

THIS ISN'T ABOUT STORMING THE BASTILLE

I mean, unless GEOTUS says so. But I would approach this event as a genuinely peaceful protest. I can't repeat enough that the forces of left will be fully present, fully engaged, and just as angry as you. LE and the NGOs. Be aware, and be safe.
