Either go with a group, or find a group to stay with once you're there. The marxists won't do shit to groups, they seek out stragglers like a bunch of hyenas. Also, if you're going in alone or with a small group, wear something discreet on your way there. No problem going unarmed, but take that pocket knife or some kind of weapon you're comfortable with. I would also consider wearing some kind of padding on your arms, so if someone is swinging something at you you're able to block it without hurting your arms too much. It's gonna be cold anyway, so maybe even consider padding more than just your arms. If enough pedes show up, I don't even think the Marxists will be a problem, except maybe hiding at the outer edges hoping to find a straggler. But better to be prepared.
