A phobia is an irrational fear. It is a mental condition that can be diagnosed and treated. Some people are afraid of clowns, but nobody is afraid of gays. The notion is ridiculous.

Hatred and intimidation of gays does exist. Like people who spit on gay couples on the street or throw gays from rooftops. But that has nothing to do with fear. Guess what religion they have? Hint: If you identify their religion the left says you have another phobia.

Human beings are naturally disgusted by things which can be harmful to them. Poo grosses us out, because in general, it's good to get away from excrement to avoid disease. Vomiting grosses us out because if someone in your tribe is hurling, odds are you have eaten the same thing, best to get it out before it hurts you. Incest disgusts us, because mating with your sister reinforces recessive traits and tends to create poor and unviable offspring. I could go on, but the point is:

If something disgusts you, there is probably a good, natural, practical reason for that.

So, the left, intent as always on destroying humanity, spends time and effort to de-sensitize us to things which, quite naturally, disgust us. And, by making it "shameful" to be disgusted by these things, they try to make us hate ourselves and our own nature.
