The immediate goal is turnout only Jan 6. The longer term goal should be a slick apparatus that allows us to organize and execute plans efficiently. The left already has this. We don’t know how soon we will need to be activated on a higher level, so we should be thinking about this NOW.

  1. IMMEDIATELY we need point persons for each city/state. There can be multiple per state, we just need at least ONE person per state that people can reach out to in order to begin organizing carpools and charter buses. As we gather those volunteers, we need to create a centralized list of contact info (or tdw name) for each state/city. The list should be stickied so everyone can find it. Multiple people per state is GREAT, they can work out roles amongst themselves.

  2. Going forward, we need a streamlined platform that is conducive for organizing. In the short term we can use tdw as is. If we want to be a FORCE, we will need additional functionality. Ideally we should build it out here or on an adjunct site to avoid reliance on companies that might ban us. To quickly facilitate mass protests/rallies (including organizing caravans) we we need functions like chat, chat rooms, parent/child groups, and leader directory. In the longer term we probably want text alerts, crowdfunding, etc. (I used to work for a group organizing website so I’m happy to explain more about functions I anticipate us needing.)

  3. In the short term we can utilize things like Google docs and Facebook groups, but we can’t become reliant because we will quickly be banned.

  4. In the longer term we need to get more serious about local/state/regional organization. Online is great, but we need to ability to quickly shift to in-person at the drop of a hat as needed. If people have access to meeting areas/warehouses etc we can begin designating meeting places for town halls etc. We need to start somewhere. We need to start building leadership in our ranks.

  5. WE DO NOT KNOW HOW SOON WE WILL WISH WE HAD THIS. Let’s get started now.

  6. We can and should piggyback on existing GOP infrastructure IF our reps bleed red.

Comment if you want to be a point person for your state or city.

I was thinking of the local Republican parties. I bet there are lots of people who are as sick of DC Rino's as we are.
