No way to make it on Jan. 6, but I want to help as much as I can. I have $200 I would like to donate to someone who is going, to help pay their expenses. Just not sure how to go about verifying someone is legit and not some shill. Any suggestions? We need to organize some type of go fund me page or something.

I'm in the same boat. One thought is to make a post of "donators" and "goers" where people self-identify as one or the other, and then each individual can check the person's .Win history as to whether or not they're trustworthy and connect via DM.
Not perfect, but it's a start and it avoids getting cancelled by big tech.
Agreed, I feel for those in blue states. They got hit with the hardest lock downs that financially destroyed them, and some will never be able to come back from it.

I think the best thing to do would be to find someone in your community that is going. Stop and talk to someone with a trump sticker or trump flag at their house.
