Hundreds of people in DC won't work. Thousands, ten-thousands, nor hundred thousands will accomplish anything. However, if Millions of people show up that day history could change. They will do everything they can discourage you from answering the call of your POTUS. They will warn you that you'll be inconvenienced. They will warn you that you'll be arrested for nothing. They will scare you with warnings of false flags.
