Same, I’m a hermit that doesn’t like to go outside and doesn’t go on vacation cause I care for my elderly parents, literally the only friends I have are on T_D even though I don’t talk to anyone here I still consider you all friends and I’ve even made plans for my sister to come over so I can go to DC and protest with my president and best group of patriots anywhere in America! I’m actually kind of excited!

DC metro is great, and there are lines that come out into the suburbs. There are park and ride busses to the train stations - should be easy to get there from anywhere in northern VA or southern MD.

I was there last weekend. The best thing is to not go out after dark, stay in large groups of patriots, and do not go anywhere near Lafayette street and BLM plaza. Also even though I felt safer around proud boys, remember they are there to counter act antifa!

I would say make sure you have a Lyft or Uber account set up. That's the quickest way to get a ride. I bet at the hotel there will be others just as happy to be there and will help anyway they can. I'm SO happy you're going. Even if you get nervous at times, you DEFINITELY won't be alone there 😁🇺🇲

Just a tip for those that plan to use uber or lyft when going to DC. it is a rideshare area, so no livery plates. Make sure model and color of car match account, and plate number. If driver is not the same guy the app shows in picture, cancel and send complaint that driver was not the one in the app. When you go to get in the car, give your first name only, then see if driver tells you the destination. ONLY YOUR DRIVER will know the destination, because the app will tell him. If he/she/xir doesnt know the destination, cancel and get out. Be safe pedes, this has been a public service announcement from another pede, have fun.

I envy you so much! I am a 68 yr old widow who would be there with my daughters, but I broke my leg and ankle severely on 9/30 and it still hasn't healed (I might need a 3rd surgery to fuse my tibia to my ankle). I couldn't walk anywhere right now and my wheelchair is not practical.
Have a great time! Find some big guys to stick close to. Go back to your hotel before dark.
