Don't. I repeat Do. NOT. The RNC had raised over $200M for the Trump legal defense fund. They've only spent $4M (2%) on Trump's legal defense. They're pocketing the extra for future GOP candidates

I thought that's what this was going to be when I started reading the title.

On Trump's website when you want to donate it sends you to WinRed. The same for other candidates one wanted to donate money for their campaigns.

I think you mean they're pocketing the extra money for themselves and they will give 2% to your congressman or senator.

No. I mean exactly what I said. The Trump Legal Defense Fund is a specific fundraiser the GOP is doing, except only about 2% is going to Trump's legal defense. The rest is going to general GOP funds

So how do we give to the Trump Legal Defense Fund? His website sent me directly to WinRed? A bit frustrated here. I do not mind giving a little money to the GOP but if I want to contribute to say, John James or Donald Trump, is there any way to avoid WinRed? This is not a rhetorical question.

Yeah I feel like a donation to trump campaign is best, let him decide where it goes?

It still goes to RNC. The election is done either way and the excess goes to the Romneys. If you donate now, the RNC has incentive to end Trump now and take the excess quickly.
