I can tell from reading here and Reddit, that most people don’t know how many government agencies are not there to just make rules but work on policies and procedures of how the government works and operates. My friend in DC, she moved pretty high up the ladder and I still don’t understand what her agency does. Something like international trade polices, like the super boring stuff you see sometimes on a Cspan

No, they push paper back and forth creating some work to justify their jobs, and when they can get in the the Amazon shopping and caught up on twitter and Facebook posts
