Use time off, and if you don't have it, then you have covid. Find a way. I'm sure many women will be there and if I felt I reasonably good be, I'd want to be too. But we absolutely NEED our MAGA men showing up in unprecedented numbers, and (imo) armed. It's not time to sit on the sidelines. I only gave my reason for not going as a barometer to say "do I really have a good enough reason not to be there?"

I'm a maga man with an 8 yr old son and a 5 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. I will be in DC in January armed. I can't let my three grow up in this.

Nothing wrong with you sitting this out. I support your decision to stay.
