It’s clear we are past the point of being nice unconstitutional “law abiding” citizens. 2A is the law and it’s time we flex it and stop acting like a bunch of sissies.

NY and NJ are just as bad, and sadly pedes coming from New England area are going to have hard time given they need to pass through one of those two states.

Illinois is another state to avoid when possible.

MD has automatic license plate recognition cameras at major bridges and tunnels. They are tied to a state-maintained database of concealed carry permit holders from other states. If the get a hit on a tag from another state with an owner that is a CCL carrier, it will send an APB to highway patrol nearest the location of the cameras. Here's a FL driver that had his car stripped on the side of the road because of this profiling: https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/dec/30/gun-owners-fear-maryland-cops-target-them-for-traf/

MD was able to obtain a list of FL (an other state) CCL databases even though FL explicitly does not share that data with other states. Exactly how they obtain them is unclear, but it is not a conspiracy.

Given the heightened awareness of LEOs about the rallies with pro 2a "right-wing" protesters, I would STRONGLY discourage anyone from driving through MD with any weapons in the car.

It's easy to say, "Well now is the time to stand up for our rights", but you'll do DJT no help if you get mowed down in a blaze of glory. Save the ammo for the rush - not for a road-side stop.
