For me personally:
I have to wear a mask at work everyday and when I shop. (Wrestling fan) wrestling has been ruined/limited or no live audience . Can't go to the shows or events. Ruined trip to Japan, my first international trip which was already paid and planned for. Can't go to local theater that I just started to enjoy. They have been closed since the shutdowns.
I can't teach a complete lecture series to a classroom full of students. I feel like I'm cheating them out of their right to an education by delivering them a half-assed product. It's been weighing on my conscience for months.
COVID hasn't ruined a single thing. The Draconian rules have ruined everything.
Freaking amazon
Gave up the mask for the first time shopping today. No issues. No one said boo and I didn’t end up in the fetal position puking like usual. Win-win.
Visiting loved ones in nursing homes or assisted living facilities is like visiting someone in prison now. Forced separation, can't hand them anything, limited to 30 minutes, all while people watch from a slight distance to make sure you obey the rules. It's dystopian.
Terrible. Also reminds me that I helped UPS for 6 years during peak seasons but this year it was canceled because my driver changed routes because of covid. So that's another thing.
I'm personally enjoying covid. I'm alone everywhere I go and do anything I want with no one around to complain. It's pretty sweet.
Covid ruined the flu. Nobody catches the flu anymore.
