Abe Lincoln: Kept the U.S. together by winning the Civil War
Winston Churchill: Would not let Britain surrender to the Nazis
Andrew Jackson: Intended to send in the military to enforce tariff law if needed during the nullification crisis
My perspective: All had a desire to do whatever they thought absolutely necessary to keep their country together during times of crisis. Who knows what Trump will do, but it's been so hard for me to believe that Trump is going to let Biden take over the White House on January 20.
What do Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, and Donald Trump all have in common? What is he trying to tell us?
They are all war time figures?
