I just argued for 4 hours with my GF about the implications of fighting for democracy. Her position ultimately was "how can you use undemocratic methods to defend democracy". I politely explained that force must be used to instill democracy, that, on its current course, it was lost last week. (Hence why the course must be corrected. Also had to go into all the blocking of audits etc)
So, it's a revolution then?
1776 baby!
But she did say she can't abide tarring and feathering so no torture. She was quite upset with me for being so excited at that prospect
You’re looking it at the wrong way. We did not have an election. It was a farce pushed by the corporate media. Without that, you are no longer a republic or a democracy. What comes next would be to hopefully one day reinstate a republic.

Tarring and feathering was more humiliation than torture. You use pine tar, which doesn't scald the subject.
You can use honey. Doesn't hurt them[except for pride and dignity], and the feathers stick better.

That is why I used the term instill. Democracy was lost. We have to forge one by will or by force
