Wouldn’t black spray paint be more effective... and I wouldn’t punch them... I would just take off their helmets and face masks. Then all the cameras can identify them. That’s more problematic for them than getting beat up.

Rig up a dual bear spray\spray paint apparatus.
Bear spray does not work that great on humans. Pepper gel spray is the trick if you can find it. Will put a big man on the ground in half a second. The canisters about the height of a beer can, not the lipstick sized ones.
