Technically the 2nd amendment covers nukes, as its meant to be a deterrent to a tyrannical government.

the highest most secure twisting two keys and codes tip top level of the U.S. government is the only entity in the entire world that should have nukes. Change my mind.

Unfortunately, as much as I like this country, that is not something that I think would be good for the world we live in. I don't think anyone here wants the US to CONQUER and subjugate the world with nuclear arms.

I personally think that the invention of the nuke was one of the worst things that humanity has done, yet the 'way' we have it now in regards to nuclear warfare... works. MAD has worked for a very long time, and I pray I do not see it fail.

So, the US only having nukes: pretty bad idea because then we either force other countries to submit or fight us. World powers having nukes: slightly shitty idea, but has at least worked out so far without destroying the damn world.
