COVID-19 is real, and it is nasty. 30% of the people hospitalized with it have lasting lung or kidney damage.
Meanwhile, the States are maximizing the numbers of deaths by testing symptomatic people, finding out they have COVID-19, and sending them home, untreated.
We have viable outpatient therapies that are cheap and readily available, and unless you have your own, co-operative physician, or you have the wherewithal to figure out an over-the-counter workaround, you can't get them.
Lung damage from the improperly implemented ventilators and the kidney damage from the blood problems that come with the improper prescribing of the ventilators on people who dont need them. Please be more informed.
It is real, and it is nasty to some individuals. But the reality is that the vast majority of people who get it will never even know they had it. Also, certain factors such as age and other disease significantly increase your odds of being affected if you get it.
Looking at the data and if you’re under 50 and healthy the vaccine probably poses much more risk to you than the virus. People should be informed and free to choose their own risk tolerance and approach.
Nearing? 3k out of 100k is 3%. The covid death rate is about 0.03% unless you've got a lot of comorbidities. It's 100x higher.
To be fair, death is a lot worse than a "health impacting event" and people are lazy af these days so they might be exaggerating their cases to get more sick days. It's still a shitty vaccine.

One experienced a cardiac arrest 62 days after vaccination #2 and died 3 days later, and the other died from arteriosclerosis 3 days after vaccination #1.”
A mild fever the next day will count as a health impact event. Which is very common with all vaccines. Until details of what they are reporting it’s safe to assume it’s normal next day vaccine icky feelings. Vaccines cause immune responses. Immune responses tend to make you fatigued and not feel great. That normally only lasts a day or two with a vaccine.
Saying we’ve had a fairly decent sized trials already and the current response is directly in line with what the trials showed. I think it’s pretty safe to assume that things will go in line, at least mostly, with the trials.
Fuck you. No one here is getting that piece of shit vaccine. Please go sterilize yourself with it however. Hopefully your face doesn't paralyze or you die from the first second third fourth shot from this year. But since the virus mutates every fifteen minutes, you'll need many many many shots over the course of the rest of your life
We need more data of course. But what if many of these people have lifelong issues now from this vaccine? There's just no way to know at this point. Not worth the risk in my opinion unless you're very old or very high risk.
In my opinion it's not even worth the risk if you are very old or have other health issues. They intentionally included old people and other high risk groups in the Moderna vaccine trial and out of over 30,0000 participants there were only 30 serious cases and only one person died of the virus.
Sure there is no way to know. But we aren’t exactly stupid. We can have a pretty good idea about the risk of long term issues. And frankly there isn’t any reason to believe there will be long term issues. Not knowing for sure about something isn’t the same as that thing being likely.
We know that having antibodies to the spike protein doesn’t cause long term issues. And the vaccine is only producing a protein similar to that. It’s not using any of the other proteins within Covid that we do know causes issues. For instance the scare about fertility issues is not caused from the spike protein. They know specifically which proteins cause that and they aren’t being utilized in this vaccine.
Of course no one should get the vaccine unless they feel it’s safe. But it’s false to be making claims about it causing long term issues when there is currently 0 data to even hint of that being a problem.
It wouldn’t be wrong to say we haven’t fully tested it yet but that’s not what many people here are doing. I’ve been a trump supporter from day 1 and I find the doom and gloom that’s popped up since we left Reddit to be disturbing.
Just because someone makes a claim doesn’t mean it’s credible, it’s just more fake news. We need to insulate ourselves from fake news even fake news we want to believe.
HOLY SHIT. These "health impacting events" are nearing the % of people that were DYING from covid.
3% of infected are not dying from C19. It is less.
I would like a breakdown of what those effects are.
So the numbers are approximately:
3.0% are debilitated from the vaccine 0.3% are killed by covid (if they get it)
0.1% would be killed by covid (assuming a 1/3 infection rate)
Hell those odds are still better than the 68%+ failure rate of Dominion

Until the breakdown I’m gonna assume all 3% are deaths.

I thought the exact same thing

By definition, this is an EXPERIMENTAL vaccine. It is not "safe to assume" anything at this point.

I'll take my chances with the virus.

It's hard to read from the tweet, so I went to the CDC website. Here is the definition of health impact event:
Correct a mild fever would be that for anyone right now. Since a fever means you are supposed to stay home.
The health impact is 1000x greater than Covid mortality rate
That's 2.8% right there! Wow.
They are exceeding it. In Moderna's own vaccine study only one person died of COVID out of over 30,000 participants. One death.
