The claim is that the RNA only sticks around for so long (probably because your immune system kills the cells that absorbed it).
Traditional vaccines work by injecting a version of the virus that can't replicate much if at all. Your immune system can optimize for killing it without normal cells getting infected and dying I'm the process. I'm not a doctor, but it seems like it could be risky tricking your immune system into optimizing for killing mostly normal cells, i.e. developing an auto-immune disorder.
