They called AZ when people were still standing in line to vote.

No, they didn't. The call came at 11:20 PM ET, while the polls closed at 9:00 PM ET.

No votes are allowed to be reported by the precincts/counties until the polls close to begin with, for the exact reason that it might affect how people vote.
