So, do you or anyone you know, really see people over there getting sick or dropping left and right from this "pandemic"? Or just hear it's happening? Yes, it affects the elderly, (esp. when they intentionally put the sick people back into nursing homes w/ non-affected elderly, w/ preexisting issues) -- but even in highly populated London, what do you see (not hear, but personal knowledge)? I read a couple of months ago this "wave" prob started in Northern UK & blamed on too many young people out partying, having fun in bars, and it spread, I guess? So they stopped all that having fun "nonsense". And coincidentally, it happened just in time to destroy Christmas for the everyone (everyone who still celebrates Christmas, that is)! My relatives live outside London. She said she's heard of, not known, two people, early on, who "might" have had it. A neighbor's daughter and grandchild. Both recovered fine. But one was a child, so IDK. Kids here are not getting it, and def not dying from it.
British fellow here, out of an extended social circle of 1000 plus humans from relatives to friends to old school friends, social media contacts and work colleagues... I know of exactly 1 positive case.
She was fine, mild cold symptoms for 2 days.
I knew it. My poor relative. I don't want her to write much about it to her on line (messenger/email, etc), so I try not to get into it a lot. I figured that out a few years ago when I tried to send a link for her and her husband to look at T_D a few years ago, via messenger/FB, and the crap hit the fan. They wouldn't allow me to send the link, because it "wasn't approved" or "safe content" or... I forget what the lie was. But via the things she's said, I figured as much. She loves her fam, to make a long story short ... It seems to me she's not even allowed to let family members, or any number at once, come over to the house. I think she's afraid ... neighbors might snitch her off type thing. Wow ... just last Christmas compared to this one, and everything in between. Her daughter is trying to get married. Had to change the date twice so far and I'm sure it isn't happening next month as scheduled at this point. And no one knows anyone who's actually sick. Or very few anyway. All a lie to control and frighten the masses, as we figured from "Day 1 or 2". Thx for verifying for me tho. Appreciate it. Stay safe ... from the authorities I mean, not "the virus".
