So, do you or anyone you know, really see people over there getting sick or dropping left and right from this "pandemic"? Or just hear it's happening? Yes, it affects the elderly, (esp. when they intentionally put the sick people back into nursing homes w/ non-affected elderly, w/ preexisting issues) -- but even in highly populated London, what do you see (not hear, but personal knowledge)? I read a couple of months ago this "wave" prob started in Northern UK & blamed on too many young people out partying, having fun in bars, and it spread, I guess? So they stopped all that having fun "nonsense". And coincidentally, it happened just in time to destroy Christmas for the everyone (everyone who still celebrates Christmas, that is)! My relatives live outside London. She said she's heard of, not known, two people, early on, who "might" have had it. A neighbor's daughter and grandchild. Both recovered fine. But one was a child, so IDK. Kids here are not getting it, and def not dying from it.
Currently the brother in law and a couple of mates have had the Wuhu lurgy but have recovered fine. They all had a cough and lost sense of smell but no sniffles as you would expect with a normal flu. Seems to lasts a few days to a couple of weeks. No masses of people Keeling over in the street and we are a tier 3 area which is highest risk till a couple of days ago. Tier 4 is the new gateway to death category which has now been awarded to London. From what I can gather the new strain is more contagious but no stronger than the original. So expect a severe out break of dancing Nurses on youtube etc. Seems to go from good to bad when Donald looks like he is doing well or is it me.. Suspect they might export this new strain across the pond just in time for your 6th Jan big meet. Ps if any of you lads and gals see the big fella tell him he has a hell of a lot of Fans in the UK who love him.. You're 100% on thinking "the virus" ebbs and flows to affect the President or any other event that might give a large majority of us a little happiness, pleasure, camaraderie, hope, or "affect an election", etc. It is really evil and insane & a bunch of lies. IDK anyone who's sick and most others don't either. (Strangely, my relative just messaged me as I was typing this to you.) I am in California. Every state's rules are different, up to each governor, and it is NOT our President's doing or decision what happens in each indiv. state. Our governor is def trying to punish us, but nowhere near as bad as you guys are being treated, from what my relative just said to me. Relative's pissed. But luckily, our cops in my county anyway, are saying FU to the rules, curfew, etc. Hang in there, and thx!
