Britain was screwed starting when they went to war in WWII and Roosevelt used it as an excuse to displace them at the top of the food chain. He wanted the dollar to replace the pound as trade currency. In 70 years an empire that controlled half the world went down the shitter.

Well said! I’ve never even thought of their downfall as being caused by American preservation in WW2 tbh! Facts it was so dominant and at this point England is just a pathetic novelty for tourists...

Basically, WW2 bankrupted the British empire. After WW2, the US was the only major power that had a completely intact manufacturing base (Europe and the rest of the world all damaged).

The US naturally became a super power as a result.

Well the USA did plenty of destruction. Remember, the CIA has been fixing votes in other countries for a long time. They cause conflict purposely, arm terrorist factions, etc. Our government also has given billions if not trillions in foreign aid, that mostly ends up in the hands of the crooked government of these places and little gets to the people.

@USAisFirst, you must be joking.

Only Trump hasn't invaded other countries. You seriously are unaware of USA toppling democratically elected foreign govts to install jew banks? Research the general who fought the Philippine-American war. His words not mine.

To be fair in many cases the US methods have resulted in disaster, there have been cases where US interference has yielded good results, but most didn't end up well.
