I've read conflicting things about Mike Pence and his views on all this.

WE SHOULD NOT EVEN BE IN THIS POSITION.

There's enough evidence in Matt Braynard's research to flip three states without even considering the Dominion fuckery.

I was talking to a relative about the IRS and State taxes being established in the United States. I had no idea that it was such a recent occurrence. She mentioned that my uncles - and everyone else besides - laughed off the Franchise Tax Board and didn't acknowledge them as someone who you had to share your money with.

"I hope this path is viable." Its not, it is just another head fake like all the others.

Please Don't fall for this. We are the ones who have been blatantly cheated, President Trump and his whole campaign who worked their hearts out got cheated too - but over 75 million of us had our votes nullified through the fraud of 20 to 30 million useful idiots, a few billionaires and the CCP. And now they are bluffing us, luring us along, telling us to "let the constitutional process play out" in other words "trust the plan"?

President Trump this stopped being a Constitutional process the day fraud was discovered in Atrium County and Election Official after Election Official started lying to us and obstructing justice. We were denied relief from every lower court we appealed to for one bogus reason after another and finally The Supreme Court of the United States, the final arbitrator for Justice TURNED US AWAY BECAUSE, THEY SAID, WE LACKED STANDING - SO 75+ million of us were denied our Constitutional Right to seek redress of harm. So now they want us to go along with them while they "ape" a constitutional process to rob us further?

So seven Supreme Court Justices, Chief Justice Roberts, Breyer, Sotomayer, Kagen. And the three we gave our hearts to, the three we prayed for and cried with: Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barret - ALL SEVEN OF THEM SAID: THE CONSTITUTION HAS NO PART TO PLAY IN THIS CLUSTER FUCK.

And I agree, Mister President, declare Martial Law and haul every last one of them in front of a military tribunal.

First, awesome points. This is not about Trump...it is about US! The American people.

Second, can someone explain what standing would mean? How can this case not be in the Supreme Court.

Third, every time Trump says something, months later it is confirmed he was correct. Example: Trump said he was being wiretapped. MSM and everyone denied. Now, yep, he was wiretapped. So if Biden gets in office (he better not) in a few months are we going to hear the MSM saying yep, guess there was tons of fraud. Oh well, too late now.

I am beyond frustrated!

1
DroolingElmo 1 point ago +1 / -0

There are other posts here on tdw that explain. But in a nutshell, beginning the 24th of Dec Pence has the right to require state legislatures to return into session by notifying them there are irregularities that he deems necessary to be addressed in order to seat their electors.

At work so don't have time to find links, but read 3 posts on this on tdw today and will look through history later

Robert Barnes thinks Pence won't take a stand. But I don't see the reasoning for that. Pence is loyal, and I've seen him make the tie-breaking vote numerous times. If he was a traitor he would have been one by now.

4
generated_name 4 points ago +6 / -2

Barnes has unfortunately been right about a lot of this. The fact that he remains optimistic about our future, even with all of this, is somewhat comforting.

2
StableGeniusNJ 2 points ago +3 / -1

Can I please ask what Robert Barnes says?

1
generated_name 1 point ago +3 / -2

He has said that he thinks almost everyone including SCOTUS and Pence will betray Trump; but that Trump will end up being a "Shadow President" who still has control of the Republican base, and therefore who is elected, and that Trump will find ways of paying back every person in the party who's betrayed him and then be re-elected in 2024; meanwhile more and more people don't trust this election, so Biden will be seen as so illegitimate and corrupt that the Democrats won't try to do half the things they say they will.

Barnes was also right about the court cases, and predicted the reasons they would be dropped. According to him the Trump team couldn't get a lawyer who specialized in election law early on; so Rudy and Jenna just had to do the best they could.

6
deleted 6 points ago +8 / -2

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, speaks to reporters outside of the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) at the U.S. Capitol in Washington on Oct. 30, 2019. (Samuel Corum/Getty Images)

Rep. Matt Gaetz Says He Will Challenge Electoral College Votes on Jan. 6 BY JANITA KAN December 20, 2020

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) said on Saturday that he plans to challenge electoral college votes when they are counted during a Joint Session of Congress on Jan. 6.

“So on January 6, I’m joining with the fighters in the Congress and we are going to object to electors from states that didn’t run clean elections,” Gaetz told a crowd during the first day of the Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summit.

Republicans in Congress are considering whether to join the effort to challenge the 2020 general election results. Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) initiated the push when he announced his intention to object to the electoral college votes come January, while several other Republican lawmakers from both chambers have remained open to participating in the effort.

Objections during the joint session must be made in writing by at least one House member and senator. If the objection meets requirements, the joint session pauses and each house withdraws to their own chamber to debate the question for a maximum of two hours. The House and Senate will then vote separately to accept or reject the objection, which requires a majority vote from both chambers.

If one chamber accepts and the other rejects, then according to federal law the “the votes of the electors whose appointment shall have been certified by the executive of the State, under the seal thereof, shall be counted.”

Several Republican senators have not ruled out the possibility of objection but have said that they would first monitor the developments regarding claims of voter fraud. Meanwhile, newly elected Alabama senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) has previously suggested that he may join the planned objection by members of the House of Representatives.

Gaetz during his speech said that moments before the event he had spoken to Tuberville, who told him that he plans on joining the effort.

MOST READ Rep. Matt Gaetz Says He Will Challenge Electoral College Votes on Jan. 6 Supreme Court Responds to Claim That John Roberts Shouted at Other Justices Over Texas Lawsuit “I had a chance to speak to coach Tuberville just moments ago and he says we are done running plays from the establishment’s losing playbook and it’s time to fight,” Gaetz said.

“Now coach Tubervillve went for it a lot on fourth down when he was coaching at Auburn. They called him the Mississippi riverboat gambler. The odds may be tough, it may be fourth and long but we’re going for it on January 6.”

The lawmakers are expected to face an uphill battle with critics arguing that the strategy of adopting the alternative Republican electoral votes is a long shot as many of those votes have not been authorized by state officials.

RELATED Exclusive: Rep. Mo Brooks—Will the US House of Representatives Decide the Next President? Exclusive: Rep. Mo Brooks—Will the US House of Representatives Decide the Next President? “Under the law, both the House and Senate would need to agree to object to the real electors and accept the fake electors,” Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) wrote on Twitter. “There is 0.00 chance the House reverses the election.”

On Dec. 14, Republican electors in seven states cast alternate votes for President Donald Trump, setting up a new challenge for Congress when it counts the votes next month. However, critics say that the Republican votes are merely symbolic and do not have the force of the law as they have not been certified by their state officials.

The Republicans said their rationale for sending dueling electors to Congress was to preserve Trump’s legal claim in the election as his team pursues legal challenges over the counting of what they say are illegal votes.

President Donald Trump and his allies have been building a case in the courts to ensure that all concerns about voting irregularities and alleged unconstitutional actions passed by state and election officials in the 2020 election are investigated to secure confidence in the election outcome for all.

His campaign and various third parties have launched a slew of lawsuits seeking to invalidate a portion of the ballots they say were cast under fraudulent circumstances or in contravention of state election laws or the U.S. Constitution.

Many of these cases have been tossed out by judges for procedural reasons, such as lack of standing to bring a case; lack of jurisdiction to sue; mootness, where there is no longer a controversy between the parties; and laches, where a judge ruled there was a lack of diligence in bringing a claim. Other judges were not convinced by the allegations presented.

Given the Dems control the House, and there are many RINO Republicans in the Senate, there will not be a majority in either the House or the Senate.

Cuz99 11 points ago +11 / -0

Even if we do get the senate majority vote it means nothing since we won’t be able to flip enough or maybe any House Dems. You’d need both majority votes in our favor. We still need to fight but this path isn’t going to work.

14

conservativefrank 7 points ago +7 / -0

That was mainly my point. We likely won't get the senate majority because of RINOs like Mitch and Mittens (the Moron Romney).

There's no way we'll get a majority in the House.

The only way Trump stops the steal is to surround the WH with the military, refuse to let the usurpers take control.

Which is why protesting every elector of every state is the path. There isn't time for 1000 hours of debate and a contingent election gets forced on the Demonrats

2
SmolPedeBestPede 2 points ago +3 / -1

I’m not sure that’s the plan either. If they don’t finish in time, it doesn’t get tossed to a contingent election. Instead, we get Acting President Pelosi. They have to successfully deny votes to get Biden under 270 to toss to a contingent election.

-1
Pandas4Trump -1 points ago +3 / -4

And Pelosi can stay Acting President until the debt ceiling is reached. Each chamber of Congress is not allowed to vote on anything until it elects the president in the house and vice in the senate.

44
KARMAAACS 44 points ago +48 / -4

You're legitimately delusional. Not even all the Republicans in the Senate will vote that way. You're expecting some Dems to flip? LOL!

This entire website is full of delusional people now. Look I support Trump, but don't actually think some Dems in the House will flip. There's zero chance that happens. This isn't like when Trump won and people were riding him off, that was a stupid thing to say he had no chance then because ordinary people are voting. But these are politicians voting in the House and Senate and they ARE THE SWAMP. No chance you convince enough Dems to vote in favor of a challenge to the electors in the House. The evidence can be there, via a Court order and they'd still not vote in favor of an election challenge. Hell, they don't listen to the law and the Courts as it is already on small stuff. Good luck getting them to listen on the big stuff.

24
MightyEighth 24 points ago +24 / -0

Bro you could take the Dems back in a time machine and physically show them the fraud happening first hand and they’d still vote to certify.

The rule of law is dead and any attempts to object for a vote is a waste of time. It’s optics to look like they’re doing something.

If what you are saying is accurate (I have no idea) then it sounds like this is basically all for show. GEOTUS is still going to have to invoke Insurrection Act and EO. Is that about right?

He said martial law.

5
shaven_llama 5 points ago +6 / -1

martial law != IA.

The IA can include martial law, but it doesn't have to.

doesn’t matter

martial law is not the insurrection act

5

It is absolutely necessary for the 2-hour debates to go on long enough all the way up until the 18th to force a contested election

If you got a congressman and a senator to object to enough electoral votes (1 EV at a time), that means you could, for example, draw PA out to 40 hours of debate. Since Pence presides over the proceedings, he could have Congress working straight 8 hour days (i.e., adjourn every evening rather than allowing congress to work through the night on this - and of course, no weekends). Hmmm.... maybe?

It would require balls of solid brass, because it would be obvious what the play is pretty early on in the process.

1
Trumpette1 1 point ago +1 / -0

OMG I did not know this was a strategy. Wowsers man I hope they do it

2
Clownworldhonk1 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's disgusting that it would have to come to this. Watch the lawsuits in the swing states and pray the results come through quickly and most importantly, justly.

3
Lovepede 3 points ago +3 / -0

Many in the swamp are not okay with the agenda of these communists. Redistribution, wealth tax, gun and ammo extinction, 10-15 million new citizens within the first 90 days, allowing China to expand and threaten the south sea, Israel, inheritance taxes will go up and hurt everyone in the swamp.

Not a doomer or anything but what is the strategy with challenging in congress? Aren't the Pelosi led house and cucked rinos in the senate just going to vote to agree with the original count?

EatDatSideOfBeef 1 point ago +1 / -0

If Congress doesn't complete this meeting and either contest or certify all 535 electoral votes by the 20th, Pelosi becomes Acting President. Hope that changes it

1
1
EatDatSideOfBeef 1 point ago +1 / -0

It just follows the Presidential order of succession for when there's no President or VP. The next in line is the President Pro Temp of the Senate, Chuck Grassley.

2
UpTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah Biden will be elected on January 6. We won't get a majority in the house or senate. It's time to fight

Where is this anger coming from? You been hanging out with Chris Hayes?

1
UpTrump 1 point ago +1 / -0

I ain't angry bro. You are just flat-out retarded if you think the electors will give trump a win

1
Hardcouer 1 point ago +1 / -0

Say you have 30 loyal Senators; 30 speaking filibusters would take up ~15 days if done right. It's actually a more viable path to blocking Biden than anything I've seen here.

1
DennyCrane 1 point ago +1 / -0

And what do you think Romney, Collins, Sass will do?

2

McConnel fears this because a vote will be taken and there will be a neatly compiled list of who to primary for those who say no. This will also destroy the GA runoff chances if the GOP doesnt even try to review these issues. Id hate to see Warnock and Osoff win but regardless if this shit is not dealt with 15 percent of us are staying home while Stacey abrahams sits on her fat ass on the absentee ballot throne.

I dont care what Trump Jr says. Look at what the Bernie bros got from holding their nose with Biden. He is actively cucking them daily. I will not be a fucking cuck for the GOP. The infrastructure favors the establishment and reelecting them doesnt make it magically go away next election cycle.

Its not a done deal yet. I'm sure the GOP will utilize every tool to coerce house and senate defectors. You will see threats, proprietary doxable information leaked from the GOP, and back room deals to get them to shut up. Gaetz seems to not give a fuck along with Gosar, Tuberville and Brooks but time will tell.

1
ProfessorOak 1 point ago +1 / -0

The runoff is the day before the 6th though

1
UwUwU 1 point ago +1 / -0

What did Trump Jr say?

3
Helicopter_Latino 3 points ago +3 / -0

To not screw this up by sitting out the GA runoffs. He wants us to fall in line. Mark my words when those 2 win (Perdue & Loeffler) and pass bipartisan amnesty for Bezos , Zuckerberg, and Dorsey you will see exactly wtf I'm talking about.

You underestimate the stupidity and lack of courage from the average voter. You dont think they wont reuse the same socialism is bad rhetoric they use this time?

We as conservatives say we are tough with our guns but deep down many of them are cowards. I am 100 percent ready fpr these marxists to come to my door, they arent so they vote for RINOs.

8
kyblugrass 8 points ago +8 / -0

Yeah, this is largely symbolic. This isn't enough, we need a path victory. The only point of people being in DC on the 6th if something has happened to change the dynamic of the vote ie. we get a state to flip or invalidate the EC votes.

1
deleted 1 point ago +1 / -0
5
pisteros 5 points ago +6 / -1

ok so this is what i have understood so far:

you need one member of house GOP and one member of senate GOP, to object the electoral vote right? what happens after?

After receiving the objections, the Joint Session splits up so the House and Senate can hold 2 hours of debate and then vote. Both chambers need a majority vote in favor of tossing the electors for it to happen and the full membership of the House votes; anyone who claims the House will conduct this vote by state delegation is getting things mixed up.
