guys guys guys - the subways will not be running anytme around January 6. I guarantee it. The whole city will shut down EVERYTHING in an effort to keep you OUT.

You should fully expect airlines to cancel flights into DC during that week, because last-minute reasons.

Gas up and drive. Bring your food & water & supplies. Imagine you're going to an abandoned city that looks like something out of The Walking Dead. Because you are.
