We've got qualified people HERE IN AMERICA already. All they want is cheap slave labor because OUR PEOPLE demand a Living Wage and our Oligarchs don't want to pay for skilled work.
Did I say anything about any of that? No.... But you're spreading fake news.
The GOP did not vote for "unlimited cheap labor from India" and you shouldn't be spreading that false narrative.
I agree that we need to reform our immigration policy but if you are going to tell people that removing country caps has that effect, you're no better than CNN.
And you sound like you lack the capacity for intelligent thought - you're spreading lies about our immigration policy because you don't care to know better.
Prior to this action, there was an overall cap on visas issued. There was also a rule that no more than 7% of those total visas could come from one particular country. Now, the 7% rule is gone but the overall cap stays in place (and in fact, it decreased, but you couldn't be bothered to care about facts).
So now there will be fewer Visas issued next year, and we won't be taking in less desirable people from other countries to try and game that 7%. This is undoubtedly a good move
