OPEN CARRY: give your adversary the edge to plan a move against you. Their objective is visible, they can position themselves near you, they can work in concert. Your only remaining edge is a general state of awareness and a shitload of luck. If there is a first shot it might be directed at you.

CONCEALED: You maintain your advantage, blend in to the surrounding people on both sides.

How is this not a no-brainer? If there are rifles, there had better be slings and heavy bulky coats. Winter is your friend. There is safety in numbers but the action will happen when you are on the way to and from the crowds.

Kyle did nothing wrong, but the odds were sure stacked against him!

If its not legal don't do it, but people who are local and have guns should be prepared to defend themselves and others, Antifa communist scum will surely try to attack women, the elderly, people walking by themselves, children, you know, their usual MO.

I'm no fan of bringing children to these types of events where things could get spicy. Safer and better to just get a babysitter and keep them at home.

My understanding would be this would be considered an event and D.C. restricts during events... Just saying, if you are trying to stay on the side of the law, make sure you are on the right side of it.

Canes, long umbrellas, long flag staffs, sealed goggles, chemical resistant masks, hardened signs. I think mace is legal, people should validate.

The cops will be overwhelmed and they will be standing in line to stop people from going in certain directions, just stay in the crowd. I prefer blunt objects like a friction baton or a blackjack or brass knuckles.... Make sure you stop by your local motorcycle shop or wherever to get those gloves that I have the hard carbon fiber knuckles.

You do, don't be alone or the cops are gonna man you.

Travel in a group. 20+ people. Safety in numbers.
