The President will do what he thinks will be best for the country, what he is able to do under the constitution, and what he has enough support within the administration to do. Those are the 3 requirements. Do not get your hopes up for anything big like martial law, or the insurrection act. Even if he wanted to do those things he might not be able to. I know people want to hold onto this, and so do I; but thinking logically, Trump is just one guy in DC, with at most a couple dozen loyal people close to him. How would the logistics of martial law or the insurrection act even work? Look at how many Republicans have turned out to be traitors, now multiply that by 100 or so. Then remember that The President has a greater knowledge of what's going on behind closed doors then we do.
This is a fight we can win; but I think it's going to take a lot longer than people want, and Donald Trump can't do everything for us.
