If a politician came out on Jan 6th and said “fuck the deep state - I was photographed doing X though I don’t remember it. I’m coming clean and supporting Trump”. Would you give them a second chance?

Yes, everyone deserves a second chance, especially when they have the courage to tell the truth no matter how hard it is. Doing the RIGHT thing. Honesty and Accountability.

It would help. If crimes were committed, those have to be dealt with legally, but I would be more inclined to forgive if they publicly admitted their wrongdoing.
