This is about a (different kind of) show of strength - something that NEVER would have been done for Presidents non-elect Dukakis, Dole, Kerry, Romney, Him-Not-Named, Clinton, Biden etc. President Trump won, his popular support was MASSIVE, and he has the continuing hat sales to prove it.
Some people want to practice social disobedience regarding DC's gun laws and make this a 2nd Amendment protest. They may be morally right to do that because the 2nd Amendment says what it says - but it's just a bad place and bad time. They will go to jail for 10 years and probably derail the march. It's not what President Trump is asking us to do. He still commands the military and DOJ. He doesn't need us to bring our guns on the 6th, and it's really stupid of some people on here to suggest it.
