Watch the video above a quick explanation of the location, rail system, and lines. I have lived in Maryland and worked in DC for 17 years.

  1. The Red, Blue, Grey, and Orange lines will take you DIRECTLY to Metro Center which is the Freedom Plaza stop.

  2. The Green and Yellow lines will require you to do a train switch. To one of the ABOVE lines.

  3. If you are driving in as a group and do NOT plan on using the metro system, I would feel free wearing your MAGA gear. If you are using the metro system and are traveling ALONE, I would pack flags, hats, and whatever MAGA gear you have in a backpack until you reach the plaza and are with us. If you're with a group on the metro, feel free to do what you want.

  4. The Freedom Plaza neighborhood is a nice place. There is no reason to fear this area. Some stickied posts are warning folks that this is the hood. It is NOT.

  5. There is always a chance that the DC Government tries to shut us down. This means no trains, no roads. If that is the case, we'll be walking in from out of town. Wear comfortable shoes, wear two pears of socks. Wear heavy coats. The weather in DC\Maryland right NOW is in the 20's at night. Do not get caught out wearing too little.

  6. Expect restaurants to be closed due to magic Covid rules that day. There are usually portable bathrooms at Freedom Plaza set up, BUT if not I'm not sure where to direct you on that if businesses and hotels are keeping people out. Bring water in backpacks. If you can eat heavy in the morning, do so. Otherwise, bring packed food.

  7. If you ARE coming armed, PLEASE do so safely. We are hoping for NO violence. We are a presence for the president. Let's be a strong one in this case, but a SAFE one for everyone involved, including us.

  8. DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS. I don't care what you think. Bringing any child under the age of 17 is not smart, wise, or any other word you can think of. It's simply not. This is adult time. Tell your kids where you're going. Tell them you're going to stand up for your president and your country. Tell them what you're doing is for them, but leave them AT HOME.

Just stay away from the east side of DC, especially the northeast side and you’ll be fine

Also to clarify. If your in DC from 9am to 4pm you probably won't even see antifa. I've been to all the DC marches. Antifa comes out once the sun starts going down. If you don't want to get caught up in this then 4pm should be your cutoff.

Thanks for information. As of now I will be traveling in alone from TN. May have some IL friends meet up along the way.

What part of TN are you coming from? I'm coming from MS, we might be able to meet up and stick together. DM me.

I'm thinking of staying at the Courtyard by Marriot Downtown. Is there a safe walking route to Freedom Plaza from there?
