Why should we have confidence in the ability to successfully conduct a proper vaccine trial when they couldn't bother to conduct a proper study of hydroxychlorquine + zinc + azithromycin? I'm not talking about studies of partial combinations or poorly conducted studies.
No one really knows much about these vaccines, and the sources we should be able to trust haven't been completely honest with us. Of the 40 odd people I know IRL who have received the vaccine the past few days, there haven't been any major side effects, but a lot with body aches more severe than the usual immunizations (keep in mind that the medical community is a group that gets a lot of shots) and a few that have had to call out or stay home, including one that spiked a fever of 103 degrees. Long term effects? Who knows. Several of the people I know who received it have stated things like "I just hope I don't grow two heads" or "the side effects will probably be less than dying from Covid."
