This Nation was created under GOD, so Bible and religious (christian) teachings should be above Constitution. I pray for heaven to deliver us from the satanist cult of Demincrats.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof . . "

It's the Islamic nations that cut people's heads off for disagreeing with their religious teachings.

The Bible itself provides for the death penalty for blasphemy and is completely missing the concept of freedom of speech. You're the one who said we should be governed by the Bible not the Constitution.

The constitution is real. It is hotly disputed whether the bible is based on fact or fiction. So I would argue that religious doctrine should never be held paramount to democratically elected government or legislation. Furthermore religious doctrine should be kept separate from politics. Could you imagine if Muslims ever got voted into government in such numbers that their doctrine could be made law? You can see ware I am going with this right.

No. Absolutely not. We have enough trouble with people interpreting and litigating what the construction says and it’s barely a few pages long.

How are you going to divine the intent of what was written by unknown authors 2000-4000 years ago? Are you really going to put people to death for wearing the wrong clothes or eating the wrong food?

Do you not get that even the Jews had issues with Pharisees - litigants of the procedural minutia who refused to even acknowledge when there was a legitimate theme?

This is not a theocracy for a reason.

No matter how you think it should be.... to be aligned more fully with Gods' will.... if we were to use it as Christians, then anyone could use the same as Muslims, Buddhists, Atheists, Satanists, etc. For OUR country, the Founders had the right idea... Our CONSTITUTION is the law of the land, nothing should be above it.... NOTHING... not as a country. As individuals, the bible doesn't contradict the constitution, nor vice versa. YOU can hold YOURSELVES to a higher position in the Kingdom... but, only YOU can do that for YOURSELVES. You can't force it on others... and if we try to set the bible above the constitution then dumb ass preachers like the "Reverend" running for office in Georgia who praises marxism, is pro abortion (murder of innocents) etc. would be able to lord it over you and still be protected by a humans understanding or interpretation of the Bible... separation of Church and State is to protect against this, to keep government out of the Church, unlike the Church of England... just saying.

the moment you stop supporting inclusivity to start advocating for exclusivity you are no better than an average sjw and you stop belonging to the Trump movement.

Yeah no. Let’s not mix up the affairs of Church and State here - the founders were well aware that this sort of thing is what led people to leave Europe in the first place, and even Christ himself recognized this was a bad idea:

“Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's.”

I understand your sentiment but The Bible and Constitution should not be compared with each other in such a way. This nation was founded with Christian values and based on many Biblical beliefs and laws but the ultimate document of the land IS the Constitution, not the Bible. The Bible should not be above the Constitution but neither should the Constitution be above the Bible (See 1st Amendment).

The US Constitution is based upon the Bible and all our forfathers were very religious. I dont how we can put one over the other. Both teach and protect our core valves as a country. We got into trouble in this country when we took prayer out of the schools. In 61 years, I ssen this happen first hand and our morals decline as well. Satan, will and has taken advantage of our rights and is using it against us through the constitution. So, Satan can use the constitution against us, but satan will never use the bible against us. Think about that for a while. Love, Peace, and God Bless.
