Had a blowout at Target with the wife Saturday as she tried to shame me for not wearing my virtue on my face properly. She's even admitted covid is bullshit, but just doesn't want the inconvenience of being brow beaten in public by normies. "It's just a mask, its not that big a deal." Her go-to cringe line. I proceed to explain its not just masks, that they've rolled out policies that are shutting America down and giving our prosperity away to the chi-comms. Millions out of work and starving over what is in her words a bs virus. No matter what facts I raise, the examples from history, it feels like she will never understand. I heard once that men are wired to defend their civilization and women just stand at the finish line waiting to fuck the winner. I gotta say, it feels really accurate right now. No offense lady pedes! You rock!

Can you tell her: "It's just a leash and a dog collar honey, it's not that big a deal for you to wear it in public." or "It's just clothes, it's not that big a deal for you to go naked in public, is it?"
The average cloth mask is about 40% effective. It slightly reduces your chances, if you aren't exposed to someone with a heavy viral load, or someone who with a lower viral load for an extended period of time (Think 5-10+ minutes in close proximity).
If she wants to hassle you about wearing a mask properly, put her in a real N95 mask (and conduct some home version of a FIT TEST) and tell her no more going back to cloth masks. FWIW, I practice what I preach. If I must wear a mask in an establishment (work or otherwise) it's N95, N99 or a P100. If you can't get ahold of a decent N95, an FFP3 mask will work. When your wife feels the difference in her breathing from a proper mask, she will no why they can be effective when correctly fitted and worn, and why many people get so frustrated about wearing them- even when they aren't against the general idea of wearing a mask.
I have a lot of patients that struggle to breathe properly with just a simple paper (standard hospital issue) mask. They don't have a choice when they are in our facilities, but we do have to put some of them on oxygen just because of the mask. It is a travesty that proper medical guidelines and knowledge is being thrown to the wayside because of political posturing and MSM brainwashing.
