Your ISP tracking you is first of all subject to whatever ISP you have, but more importantly can be bypassed with a proper and trustworthy VPN service.
More importantly though, just because your ISP may be tracking you does NOT mean you shouldn't care about others tracking you. I care much more about Google, Twitter, Facebook, etc tracking me than I do an ISP. And if you use a trustworty DNS server, your ISP can only track so much.
