The people actually died of bacterial pneumonia, at least that is what 9000 autopsies in a huge study hidden within the CDC's vaults say - the influenza was a mild one, bad sanitary conditions and the widespread movement of troops helped spread it quickly. Lying Fauxi is well aware of this study.

There were lockdowns. Many cities closed schools. Some businesses were closed. Just like this time, it seemed to only be used against establishments that politicians didn't like. Weird, huh?

Far less pussies and Atheists back then. (Atheists only bc their no-afterlife belief tends to make them less willing to grok their way through something dangerous that a theist would find as an acceptable risk.)

And I don't agree with THOSE measures, since liberty doesn't take a holiday when there's a pandemic. But, there were all kinds of restrictions and closures.
