I’m expecting something around Christmas. They still do re-enactments of Washington crossing the Delaware very early on Christmas morning. I was lucky enough to be there one year. A great cheer went up when the actor playing George put his foot on the bank. It was a hoot, but still quite serious. Very patriotic. I wonder what citizens will be doing to mark this moment in time in 200+ years. We fought and won against immensely powerful forces already, and we’re doing it again now. What a time to be alive.

after hans v liousianna (state immune to federal suits file by their own citizens-such immunity is not in constitution) , plessy v fergusson (separate but equal), buck v bell (legalized forced sterilization upon those the state deemed imbeciles [Trust me, the dems would do it to capitalist before we would marxist]), stump v sparkman (qualified immunity given to judge who ordered teen steryized), Bradley v. Fisher (giving judges absolute immunity), nixon v fitzgerald (qualified immunity), Imbler v. Pachtman (granting absolute immunity to prosecutors), sosamon v texas (gives sovereign immunity to states in federal rluipa claims), roe v wade (legalized killing unborn babies), obergfell v hodges (ruled gay marraiges const right), etc (trans rights), etc...This is what makes ppl decide to burn the scotus down as they been ripping away your every const right by giving immunity to all government officials who seek it for their lawless actions?

1
clampie 1 point ago +1 / -0

They can deny it because it's past the time that electors met. This would also set a precedent, which the Roberts Court is loathe to do.

13
MAGA1776er 13 points ago +13 / -0

Its crazy that they don't touch this with a 10 foot pole. Because they know we have standing and we've requested nothing more than the case be examined fairly in a constitutional court. The powers that be trying to ignore this instead of attack us for it, or just straight up lie shows how much standing and how valid the meticulous patriots that put this together really are. Much Russia and impeachment hoax was ran on hand waving and fumes. We've thousands of data points of evidence and much more coming. We know what was done.

2
FiatLux 2 points ago +2 / -0

you make a fair point, and one that i think is not actually lost on the court. the trump team was done dirty - we've shown plenty of evidence at this point. so the way things are supposed to work in this country is that you at least deserve your day in court to stand before justice, make your arguments, and receive a judgement whether for or against your case.

we are not asking the supremes to 'change the election' - they may end up doing that if our cause is true and the judges honest - but we are asking them to give is a chance to make our case.

this is the to help provide resolution to a dispute that, without their judgement, threatens to further divide and hasten the end of our country.

i may be naive but i think we still live in a country based on the rule of law, and that the court will be interested in the case

if we can figure this out and apply the constitutionality of it, why can't they? And if they Can't or won"t do it, then We The People should.

5
Litterboxer1 5 points ago +5 / -0

Everyone here was saying the texas case was a "slam dunk" too

4
FORMERCHILDSTAR 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah, well, let's see what happens. The Texas case wasn't dismissed because of evidence, it was dismissee on procedural grounds.

4
clampie 4 points ago +4 / -0

Which is why they will likely dismiss this on procedure: it's past the date that the electors met and voted.

1
FORMERCHILDSTAR 1 point ago +1 / -0

Or because of that it will show potential injury to plaintiff.

1
clampie 1 point ago +1 / -0

No one can predict what SCOTUS will do. I believe they simply want to stay out of this. That also means if we use a political decision to block the votes and keep Trump, they will also stay out of it.

1
BillionsAndBillions 1 point ago +1 / -0

I wouldn't count on the latter part of your statement. I've seen no part of our government hesitate to screw over Trump or his 80+ million person base.

1
FORMERCHILDSTAR 1 point ago +1 / -0

It seems to me they would hav a constitutional duty to remedy any infraction of state election laws. Not that they choose the president, but that they strongly suggest the state legislature that their state election was broken by fraud and irregularities. It might give the PA legislature political cover to not certify the electors. Maybe.

Pa Supreme court cannot override the US constitution. The legislature is supposed to make election law, not court or Governor. should state supreme court be allowed to infringe upon any other rights? maybe tell black people they can't vote for example?

3
TreeFiddy11 3 points ago +3 / -0

would be more like white people can't vote.

2
Weloveflyovercountry 2 points ago +2 / -0

we (trump voters)are 4/5ths of a person according to a machine. the SCOTUS thru their incompetence supports this.

5
Jaggie 5 points ago +5 / -0

The power given to the state legislatures to determine the manner of voting is given from the Constitution of the United States. All states agree to abide by federal law as outlined in the founding documents. The power/authority of the legislative branch of PA was usurped by the other two branches. It is definitely within the authority of the SCOTUS to make a ruling.

0
deleted 0 points ago +2 / -2
1
Weloveflyovercountry 1 point ago +1 / -0

doesnt matter, the law the legislatures made (mail in voting) in the first place violated the PA constitution. so all branches of the PA gov violated the constitution. probably applies to machine voting too. among other rules, the people have to vote directly to change the constitution-that applies to everything including voting......and because the voting law was changed in a federal election, it involves the SCOTUS.

3
tcriv 3 points ago +3 / -0

the constitution is the SUPREME law of the land. it supersedes state laws. if PA is violating the constitution then the supreme court has a duty to fix that shit

im a bit cynical with regards to scotus at this point so i'm not expecting much there... unless we can put more pressure on the corrupt actors than the deep state...

1

SCOTUS doesn't have to do anything.

Texas was a slam-dunk but they decided not to do it. And Alito and Thomas said they would have heard it but also would have not given relief based on its merits.

Don't expect SCOTUS to do a thing.

3
RussianAgent13 3 points ago +3 / -0

It did go to PAs supreme court. Now SCOTUS might reject it and say it's a state issue, sure. That's not pushing it back to PAs court though. The legislature screwed up too they should have ignored the courts.

They are cowards at the highest level and they don’t give a fuck about the people who had their back during the toughest times. All they had to do was be constitutionalists like they said they were. Fuck them. Kavanaugh cried like a weak, coward faggot in front of the whole world. I should have known then that he was a weak person. Gorsich is a self righteous, smug dickhead. And ACB is a woman and women naturally fall in line with the status quo and tend to be agreeable. The death of America has their faces on it.

2
Carry_Your_Name 2 points ago +2 / -0

Don't count them out. It's mostly Robert's fault. According to the staffer, he called them to SHUT UP. He's the real problem in there that defiles the whole court. Trump has to hit him hard in his next term, exposing his tie with Epstein or some other kind of scandal and get him removed for that. He can replace Breyer and Thomas, but as long as Roberts is still there as the chief, it wouldn't matter.

Interesting, they are essentially suing as a Corporation (said Corporation is harmed, therefore standing)

If scotus fucks this up, they oughta be restrained and locked up inside the courtroom while it burns in minecraft.

Even though the legal path has narrowed it is still a viable path. But I wouldn't count on this being the best path forward from now till Jan 6th.

SCOTUS, today you have an opportunity to do the right thing. Be thankful you have that opportunity, prove to us that you still stand for the rule of law. Let the evidence be heard and seen fairly.

The Supreme Court will not touch any of this with a 10 ft pole.

Point blank they punted before the election to allow this charade -- and they punted after the fraud to allow this charade.

They are simply not interested in standing up for the Constitution and making a meaningful decision that will impact anything.

The fraud was allowed. It happened. It will continue to happen.

Not certifying the electors (despite them being certified) will lead to Biden winning in House majority. It was all just bullshit.

Fuck Lin Wood. Fuck Scotus. And FUCK, TRIPLE FUCK, the FBI.

Who is busy investigating who set a marxist flag on fire, but hasn't got around to Ruby Freeman and Shea Shea, the TFC Center video footage, the Truckloads of ballots from NY->PA -- etc. etc. Who ignored for years now the coordinated and terroristic efforts of Antifa (who has committed murder and untold atrocity).

I'm beyond black pilled.

FUCK. THE. SYSTEM. TRUMP NEEDS TO BURN IT ALL DOWN.

It's an open and shut case. Will the court do the right thing?

Ravenmaster68 2 points ago +2 / -0

The Commies love Doxing. That's what SCOTUS is really afraid of. They could care less if half the country burns as long as they're nice and comfy in their gated communities

Pretty sure /pol/ could fix that in about an hour.
